About Me
Juliet Yeasting
Founder of Shine Light Coaching
Shine Light is the name of my practice as a statement of how I live out my faith in the world. I believe that we are all wonderfully made in the image of the Creator, the Author of all that is good and true. My practice is centered on reflecting the God-light in all those I coach and encounter daily. It is my hope that, together, we will shine light in the darkness and find a way forward into an abundant life where you are flourishing and thriving.
Faith in a living, loving God is at the heart of my coaching practice. Jesus calls me to love as I am loved – with presence, grace, compassion, and tender loving care.

About Me through the lens of my values
Experiences
My adventurous spirit is drawn to Experiences that challenge me physically and mentally.
My seafood career gave me the opportunity to travel internationally and work with people from various cultural backgrounds. I learned that we have so much in common. We all want to be loved, heard, respected and treated fairly. We want family, a sense of belonging and life meaning. Our values influence so much of what we do and how we show up to meet those basic needs and feel successful.
Relationships
My life is enriched by Relationships that offer mutual support and care.
My husband and I raised two daughters and a son while I worked full time building my seafood career. I was fortunate to be supported by close family and lifetime friends. Our family continues to grow, and I am so very grateful.
Trustworthiness
My Trustworthiness is a testament to my commitment to honesty and reliability. I strive to be a dependable presence, understanding that actions speak louder than words.
In my 30+year career in the Alaska commercial fishing industry and global seafood business, I connected with my teams and industry colleagues as an encouraging coach and intentional servant leader. I utilize this lifetime of wisdom and experience in my coaching practice.
Leisure & Friendships
In the realm of Leisure, I find joy in activities that combine enjoyment with personal growth. At the heart of my world is Friendships, where I find solace and strength in deep, meaningful connections striving to nurture them with honesty and open communication.
I love to travel to new places – especially with friends. My idea of good leisure time is to plan a big event like a family trip to Thailand, crew trip to China, a 60th birthday party in Tuscany or join friends skiing in North America, Austria, Switzerland or Italy.
Creativity & Compassion
Creativity is a vital outlet for expressing my true self. I find fulfillment in creative activities, valuing the joy of shared experiences.
"Compassion is the daily practice of recognizing and accepting our shared humanity so that we treat ourselves and others with loving kindness, and we take action in the face of suffering."
– Brené Brown
My creativity and compassion shine through in events and gatherings. I love to cook for my friends and family and find joy in welcoming them to my table! The focus of my gatherings is to feed my friends and guests – both literally with the food I serve at the table and figuratively with the attention I give them with active listening and engagement.
“Welcome to My Table” is an invitation to join me in that space of life-giving sustenance. I provide support, encouragement, and spiritual nourishment to help you find and maintain your unique strengths and authentic spirit in order to face life’s challenges with grace.
In the words of the Thomas Rhett song, Be a Light:
In a world full of hate, be a light
When you do somebody wrong, make it right
Don't hide in the dark, you were born to shine
In a world full of hate, be a light
In a place that needs change, make a difference
In a time full of noise, just listen
'Cause life is but a breeze, better live it
In a place that needs a change, make a difference
